For those astute to social media as a whole, as well as though who work in internet marketing, would tell you that there is a special number of times you should post in a day. Also to pay attention to when you post. Whether you are seasoned or just starting out, it is hard to determine the most successful formula. Everybody uses social media platforms differently. In fact, there are a lot of people who "lurk" on social media. You know those people who, rarely ever post, but follow what others are saying and sharing.
There are many recent articles by those in internet marketing that say that social media has really turned into a huge advertising ploy. In fact, there is some truth to that statement. From the pages on Facebook and Google+, to those Tweets from your favorite company or celebrity on Twitter. Yes, there is some truth to the social aspect of social media, but what is the formula to combine both well? The point is to "engage" those who follow what you say to create a relationship. The point is to help each other out in such a way, that you mutually benefit from what has been shared.
What happens when your following becomes really loyal? Well, utilizing advertisement via posts and Tweets has been the charm for some. What are you actually building? Advertising network or relationship? If you have built the relationship, the advertising should already be done. So is there a formula to social media?
